A Little Press
A Duluth neighbor and blogger found one of my bookmarks in our neighborhood Little Free Library and posted this blog entry about her love of the Little Free Library movement. It is really nice to see the joy the bookmarks have brought to her. When she gets her own Little Free Library I will draw her street and include it in the growing collection of street scenes.
I just finished drawing the south side of the 300 block of 9th St E, Duluth, and will start drawing some new streets today. If you have a Little Free Library in your neighborhood and would like bookmarks, a full sized drawing of the block, or a drawing of the block you live on, I would be happy to work with you on commissioning a drawing. Contact me if this interests you and we can discuss the project.
Thanks so much for mentioning my blog here. I could use some new readers, and each month I have a drawing for small boxes of auction leftovers (sometimes known as “junk,” except to me) so do enter the drawing if you get a chance. Who knows what you might find?
I’m eager to pick up your new bookmarks. I think they are exquisite. I hope to collect them all. (I wonder if we can trade them like baseball cards?) I’d love to see Gilliat Street in black and white. It’s my favorite place on earth.
